AJUAR FUNERARIO

¡Aquí llega mi primer cómic y no puedo estar más contento!
Hoy mismo llega a las tiendas AJUAR FUNERARIO, la adaptación al cómic del libro homónimo de Fernando Iwasaki que publica la editorial Páginas de Espuma.

El guionista Imanol Ortiz realizó una selección de 18 de sus relatos cortos que he dibujado y pintado a conciencia, agrupándolos en tres categorías: Difuntos, Infantes y Monstruos :)

Ha sido una ardua pero gratificante labor que espero disfrutéis tanto como lo he hecho yo dándole forma.

Olympian Gods

 I LOVE myths, specially the Greek ones so here are some of the sketches I made about the Olympian Gods.

ZEUS

King of Gods.
Ruler of the Olympic Mountain, Lord of the sky, God of the rain and acumulator of clouds,
he waved the terrible lightning. The father of all gods and mortals. Husband of Hera.

DEMETER

Goddess of agriculture.
She belonged to the first generation of Olympian Gods and she had a daughter with Zeus: Persephone.
Besides of being goddess of the harvest, she also controlled the seasons,
and because of that she was capable of destroying all life on Earth.

POSEIDON

God of the sea.
He was Anfitrite's husband, one of the nereids, and they had a child: Triton. Nevertheless,
he had many other lovers. Poseidon and gorgon Medusa had a child: Pegasus, the famous flying horse.

HESTIA

Goddess of the household and the sacret fire.
Sister of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera and Demeter, Hestia was really calm and was the only one who never got involved in a fight. It is said that Hestia gave up her seat in favour of newcomer Dionysus to tend to the sacred fire on Mt. Olympus. Because of this, Hestia doesn't figure in many myths and she didn't roam or have any adventures.   

HADES

God of the dead.
Even he was a ferocious God, he wasn't malignant. He was quite passive and often was entrusted to keep the balance. The Underworld was called Hades too. It was divided in different regions: some of them are Elysium, where the heroes went in when they died (similar to the Heaven) and and Tartarus,
the deepest region, where the titans where shut in (alike the Hell).

 HERA

Queen of Gods.

Goddess of marriage and protector or married women.

Daughter of the titans Cronus and Rhea, old sister and wife of the God Zeus.

She was very jealous and often she chased Zeus' lovers and children (I think she deserved lovers too).

She never forgot an unfaithfulness and she was known because of her vengeful nature.

BUFFY the vampire slayer

I LOVE this TV show and enjoyed it a lot when I was a teen :)
Last year it celebrated the 20th anniversary and here is the drawing I made about the team! Hope you like it!

13 REASONS WHY

I'm enjoying making fanart! Drawing different characters and focus on their unique characteristics is a great way to continue improving. I loved 13 Reasons Why, so here are the main characters :)

STRANGER THINGS

I can't watch all the series I want, but Stranger Things was so entertaining and eye catching, that I couldn't resist to draw the main characters :) So I did a quick sketch every day.  Can't wait for the seconf season!

I know I haven't submit many things in a while. I've been quite busy with my own projects and some changes are coming... Everything will be different since September!

Hold Me

Before 2014 was finished, instead of analyzing the last whole year, I decided to go 4 years back and see how things are changing. So I redo an old drawing about Edward Scissorhands, one of my favourite movies ever!
There is a lot t improve, but I think we are in the right way, aren't we? :)

Antes de que finalizara el 2014, en lugar de analizar todo el año, decidí echar la vista atrás otros 4 y ver cómo van cambiando las cosas. Por lo que le he dado un lavado de cara a un viejo dibujo que había hecho de Eduardo Manostijera, una de mis pelis preferidas!
Aún hay mucho por mejorar, pero creo que no vamos por mal camino, qué opináis? :)
